Google Pixel is a suite of consumer electronics devices from Google running Chrome OS or Android operating system. The Pixel brand was introduced in February 2013 with the first generation Chromebook Pixel. Pixel lines include laptops and smartphones, along with (from 2015 to 2017) Pixel tablets C. Devices can be purchased through the Google Store or in retail stores.

Google announced the first generation Pixel phones, Pixel and Pixel XL , on October 4, 2016 during the #MadeByGoogle event. They originally run Android 7.1 Nougat. Google emphasized the camera on two phones, classified as the best smartphone camera on DxOMarkMobile with 90 points until HTC released U11, which also scored 90 points. This is mostly due to optimization of software such as HDR. Pixel phones also include unlimited cloud storage for images in Google Photos and an open bootloader (when purchased directly from Google; phones purchased through Verizon Wireless and its partner stores can not remove keys from the bootloader).

Pixel C was announced by Google at an event on September 29, 2015, in addition to Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P phones (among other products). Pixel C includes a USB-C port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device is shipped with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and then receives Android 7.x Nougat and Android 8.x Oreo. The Pixel C was discontinued in December 2017.

On March 11, 2015, Google announced the second generation of Chromebook Pixels in a blog post. The laptop includes two USB-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports, an SD card slot, and a combined headphone/microphone jack. It also has a backlit keyboard, "multi-touch, clickable glass trackpad," built-in stereo speakers, and two built-in microphones, among other features.
Google stopped the 2015 version of Chromebook Pixel on August 29, 2016.

On October 4, 2017, Google launched its third generation Chromebook Pixel, named Google Pixelbook, on the Made by Google 2017 show.

At Google's hardware event in October 2017, a set of wireless earbuds was launched along with Pixel 2 smartphones. Earbuds are designed for phones running Android Marshmallow or higher, and work with Google Assistants. In addition to audio playback and answering calls, earbuds support translation in 40 languages ââthrough Google Translate. Earbuds can pair automatically with Pixel 2 with the help of Google Assistant and "Nearby". Pixel Buds are available in Only Black, Very White and Blue Kinda colors. Earbuds have a capacity of 120 mAh battery while charging casing that comes with Pixel Buds has a 620 mAh battery capacity. Mini speakers cost $ 159.
Pixelbook Pen
Along with the launch of Pixelbook in October 2017, Google announced Pixelbook Pen, a stylus to be used with Pixelbook. It has pressure sensitivity as well as support for Google Assistant. The pen is powered by a replaceable AAAA battery and priced at US $ 99.
