Google Insights for Search is a service by Google similar to Google Trends, providing insight into search terms used by people on Google search engines. Unlike Google Trends, Google Insights for Search provides a visual representation of regional interests on a country map. This shows top searches and uphill searches that can help with keyword research. Results can be narrowed by the categories shown for each search term.
The order of important terms in search, and different results will be found if the keywords are placed in a different order.
On September 27, 2012, Google Insights for Search closed and merged into Google Trends again.
